We are burying my fiance today, feels very surreal. The hardest part about this is the loneliness, and how empty the apartment feels. Its gonna be a tough day for sure, but I have peace knowing she's not in pain anymore.

I'm sorry.  My husband died 8 years ago, one week after our wedding.  He was & is the love of my life.  I understand how surreal it feels, and everything else you said.

I'm so sorry. That sounds like it would be an incredibly painful adjustment. I'm glad you've been able to find some sense of peace. Take care.
