"I'm so sorry. That sounds like it would be an incredibly painful adjustment. I'm glad you've been able to find some sense of peace. Take care."

"I'm sorry.  My husband died 8 years ago, one week after our wedding.  He was & is the love of my life.  I understand how surreal it feels, and everything else you said. "

Hard day

We are burying my fiance today, feels very surreal. The hardest part about this is the loneliness, and how empty the apartment feels. Its gonna be a tough day for sure, but I have peace knowing she's not in pain anymore.

About Me:
I do construction work, 51, live on east coast , I have 5 grandkids, through my Fiance. I am trying to start a crafting business with a portion of the sales going to brain Tumor awareness and research, also will hopefully start a craft fair in my fiances honor as a fundraiser, i hope for it to be an annual thing.
About my Loss:
I lost my fiance to a glioblastoma brain cancer on the 23rd of August, her name was Stacey, she was the love of my life, she had a big heart, big smile. Always kind, she has 3 children from her previous marriage, and 5 grandchildren. I met her online in 2009. She was diagnosed with the brain tumor in February, she fought with everything she had. I know she is no longer suffering but I miss her dearly. She loved kids and worked as a daycare teacher.

She sounds like she lit a warm light inside of you. May that shine guide you as you journey through the roller coaster of loss.
