Making A Difference-Your Legacy Will Live On

Ste just before you died you said you were worried you had not made a difference in your life.
I said to you- Ste you served in the Army you cared for disabled people in the NHS you fathered a son brought up five children and helped to raise my little girl but the most important thing was you had loved and you were loved with a passion.

Ste you- made a difference and I will continue your legacy in your memory.

Your legacy will live on-

I will be brave on my new journey without you and show courage in catastrophe as you did as a soldier
I will show people who are less fortunate that I care and will spend precious seconds with them
I will continue to bring up my daughter with love and guide her with the advice you gave me whilst giving her the freedom to find her own path as you did but will be there when she needs my support .
I will continue your laughter and sense of humour by reminding myself that fun and joy can be found in the smallest of things.
I will continue your joy of music and sing and dance as much as I can in your name.
I will continue to love with a passion and form deep connections with special people in my life.
I will find the peace you never found-you thought you would find it on the beach in Goa but I think I will find peace in being happy bringing happiness to others and knowing you are at peace and waiting for me.

Ste you may be gone but your spirit lives on in me and I will make the difference for the both of us until we meet again in the next life or God's kingdom.

That is so true, I am trying to live my life with the same regards to my soul mate what a special way to say I love and respect you ... Doing something worth while instead of letting your grief pull you under...

God Bless You

My mom died 4 months ago

My mom had pulmonary fibrosis. She was sick for a few years. It was funny how when my grandmother smoked, my mom would always say-I’m gonna die from second hand smoke. My mom never smoked. She died from lung disease. Ironic.I was fine at the funeral. Planning. Talking to everyone. I thought u handled it great. Now 4 months later, I’m a mess. Some days I’m perfectly fine, but others I can’t walk down the street without crying. I keep thinking that I haven’t talked to her in a while & I…See More
