the world was pretty hard on me before amber died , now the world is just fucked only good thing i guess is that i dont care ...about the worlds problems any more .

i google how to survive the death of my child , and the results are insulting there are none really other then the ones offering to sell you books or the ones offering to sell you God or 20 steps to surving the death of your child the rest of the results are how to save your marriage after the death of your child um i dont know about the rest of the people here i honestly dont give a flying fuck about trying to save a damn thing i barely can save me right now any how my point you put in sex and you get 100s 1000s of results on porn of every disgusting thing you can think of but something this serious , something this important there is no real material .

C. S. Lewis once said.

“ If you look for truth, you may find comfort in the end; if you look for comfort you will not get either comfort or truth only soft soap and wishful thinking to begin, and in the end, despair. ”

My comfort comes from finding the TRUTH about why bad things happen. About why people suffer. About why people (even very innocent and precious children) have to die?

I believe that there have been so many lies taught to people that they conclude there is no truth. I can completely understand that. The search for truth can be frustrating and tiresome, but it is there, and once we find it, we finally get the help we need.

I am so sorry for the loss you have suffered. It has created a hole in your heart and life that will never be filled. I hope that you can find some comfort (it won't take the pain away) because true comfort gives us hope and purpose.

If there is anything that i can do to help please just let me know.

Jessica Im so sorry you are hurting so bad and cannot find the support you need.  You could try calling a doctors office and asking how to contact any local support groups that relate to grief.  I cant remember what the name of the national organization for parents who have lost a child but someone here is sure to know and Im sure a doctors office would know as well.  When my son died I was contacted by our local group but chose not to deal with them because I have a great family support system and it was such a horrible time I honestly barely remember those phone calls let alone the name.  I hope while you continue your search for support you find some help and comfort here.

My mom died 4 months ago

My mom had pulmonary fibrosis. She was sick for a few years. It was funny how when my grandmother smoked, my mom would always say-I’m gonna die from second hand smoke. My mom never smoked. She died from lung disease. Ironic.I was fine at the funeral. Planning. Talking to everyone. I thought u handled it great. Now 4 months later, I’m a mess. Some days I’m perfectly fine, but others I can’t walk down the street without crying. I keep thinking that I haven’t talked to her in a while & I…See More
