- My partner of 29 years died from lung embolism in my arms at home last year. We were two persons with one soul. He died suddenly from one minute to another, and his last breath was mine. During the time I gave him CPR, he died while I was blowing air inside his mouth. Our final eye contact was so close that I could see inside his blue eyes as his life left his body. The pupils dilated, the eyes became glassy like those of a dead fish.

There is a zoom support group meeting on mondays if you are interested. it was met only twice but been a good experience for me. Again, sincerely and deeply sorry for the loss of your husband and other half.
