My child, my child I miss you

This anguish I cannot bear

My mind seeks for answers
Of why heaven needs you there
I'm jealous of the angels
Who came to take you home
And left me bereft and hollow
... left me here to mourn
Did not they know I needed you
that I'd shed a million tears
Do they know how much I love you
How much I want you here
Why did they not take the agony
they knew your loss would bring
How come I do not feel the comfort
which comes beneath their wing
How do I sleep in a restless world
How do I face the dawn
How do I mend a shattered heart
when the part that was you is gone

Beautifully stated.  I also feel this way, but I have learned that we somehow find the strength to make it through each hour, each day and then the years pass by and we are still making it by one day at a time.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
