I live in the redwoods and just took my dogs for a walk. There is a different kind of silence in the woods; the green quiet of mossy age. The trees have been there since before we were ever a hope. That they will be there long after I am gone puts things into a different perspective for awhile. The silence at home is full of the inside of my thoughts.

that is beutifal. peacful makes you realize how short our lives really are even though they seem way to long when you feel so sad everyday. just wanna get it over with i feel wish i was 80. Use to worry so about getting older about death not anymore that is one blessing my fawna gave me no more fear of any of that. Just wanna get it over with

My mom died 4 months ago

My mom had pulmonary fibrosis. She was sick for a few years. It was funny how when my grandmother smoked, my mom would always say-I’m gonna die from second hand smoke. My mom never smoked. She died from lung disease. Ironic.I was fine at the funeral. Planning. Talking to everyone. I thought u handled it great. Now 4 months later, I’m a mess.
