My life has change and I cannot just smash my way out of pain.

I lost my wife Jodi on June 16th. At the time it was like any night but change quickly. Before I knew it I was back home alone cleaning up stuff left by the EMT`S. It then hit me. You never know what you've got until you lose it !

Every time I wake up I find that I have to face another day of my wife not being there, although it's been 16 years now since the angels came, I know if I mention her to someone it'll just give them a cause to tell me that I should be "over it" by now. Does anyone else feel pressure to always reply because you're afraid it'll be the last conversation?

Hi everyone. This is my first post here.I lost my brother in December 2024 to an accidental overdose. He passed away suddenly in his sleep.
