Profile Information

About Me:
I am an only child, only grandchild and only great grandchild. My mom was an only child also. Now that my parents and my grandparents have passed, it’s just me and my two children and their families. My daughter hasn’t spoken to me since my mom passed almost 3 years ago. She feels like she enough form my mom And I was the reason. So I lost my mom, and my best friend on the same day.
About my Loss:
My mom passed away and 2021. She had cancer and when they diagnosed her, she didn’t last very long. I moved in and helped take care of her and stayed with her in the hospital. I was by her bed the day she passed, but I ran outside to get the hospice nurse who was coming up the drive. When I came back in she had passed. I have felt such grief that I wasn’t with her in that last breath. I just happened on this site and saw a post about possible that mother waited till her daughter had left the room. Maybe because she didn’t want her to see that exact moment. I don’t know. I’m gonna apply this to mine and see if that helps.

Grandma sewing room
