- About Me:
- I'm 53 years old. I've been a speech-language pathologist for 29 years. I married the love of my life in June '04. I have no children but 2 cats.
- About my Loss:
- My husband Scott was diagnosed with Stage IV Mantle Cell Lymphoma on 3/18/20. He went through 6 cycles of chemo and some radiation. He had just started a new treatment, a BTK inhibitor about 4 1/2 weeks before his passing on 10/28/20. We were so hopeful his treatments would get him into remission. He was in and out of the hospital along his journey due to low blood counts, etc. He had difficulty breathing that last day. We called the ambulance and after a full day in ER/ICU, he passed early that next morning. I was by his side and it was very peaceful. I miss him so much and am dealing with intense grief as I have lost the love of my life.
