- About Me:
- I'm a 50yr old wife, mom, daughter, sister and friend. I'm on disability due to several chronic illnesses but still try to lead as active and productive of a life as possible. I have 2 wonderful children- a 20yr old son and a 16yr old daughter. Loves of my life! My husband and I have been married for 17yrs. I was born and raised in Sarasota, FL but moved to NC when I was 30 and pregnant with my son. We moved to Asheville, NC when he was 6mths old and have lived here ever since.
- About my Loss:
- I lost my middle brother (I'm the oldest of 3, myself and my 2 younger brothers) on March 5, 2016 when he was maliciously run over by a hit and run driver in the process of stealing my brother's girlfriends car. He was 5yrs younger and had been everything to me since the day he was born. He and I were not just brother and sister but he was my best friend, confidante, advisor, comforter, cheerleader, constant support system, dance partner and the list is unending!! I have come quite aways in my grief process but part of me died along with him that night and I will Never be the same person ever again!!
