About my Loss:
29-year-old daughter lost her fiance to stage 4 esophageal and liver cancer.. he passed away in September just shy of a year when he was first diagnosed.
They had been engaged for two years and had a wedding date of October 31st 2020... He passed away a month before they were to marry.
It breaks my heart that she is having to go through this and it's such a young age because she built her life around him of course they livef together as they bought a town home two years ago.
What weighd heavy on my mind is not only helping my daughter through this as very rarely do you hear about a fiance that young losing their life to cancer, but the three days spent with her helping to take care of him before he passed.
She feels lonely of course and there is an emptiness that none of us can understand unless we have been there before. She is having to change her life so much and learn some things that her fiance took care of. People remember the grieving mother and father of the one who passed but they forget about the fiance and what they're dealing with...

Grandma sewing room
