Profile Information

About Me:
I'm 73 years old. Four years in the Air Force
Retired from the Treasury Dept in 2004 after 36 years. I volunteered at the Manchester Hospital at the coffee cart, and volunteered at a nursing home in Tolland Ct, but because of covid, they let me go until the situation improves. I also enjoy photography
About my Loss:
In 1980 I lost my older brother from agent orange.
In 1998, I lost my father from lung cancer.
About 3 1/2 years ago I lost my twin brother from lymphoma after helping out at 911 as a social worker. 2 1/2 years ago, I lost my mother at the nursing home, just missing her 101st birthday by 2 weeks. I was a care give to her after I retired, and took care of her for 9 years. Now that I live alone, I feel even more depressed, and abandoned. I see a psychiatrist for 15 minutes, but she doesn't help. All my other volunteer works has been on hold, am I'm a people person, I feel very discouraged and lost. Any suggestions? Thanks

I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site. Could you please get back to me on:(charles_mcgrath81@yahoo.com) for the full details.

Have a nice day
Charles McGrath.

Does anyone else feel pressure to always reply because you're afraid it'll be the last conversation?

Hi everyone. This is my first post here.I lost my brother in December 2024 to an accidental overdose. He passed away suddenly in his sleep. We were only a year and a half apart in age, and he was the closest person I've ever had.One thing I've been struggling with ever since is that I feel an overwhelming pressure to reply to texts and answer calls as soon as I can. If someone messages me and I don't respond right away, my mind starts thinking, "What if something happens to them before I reply?…See More
