- Hello everyone, first I would like to give my condolences to all of you regardless of what your story is.
I'm 33, from West Virginia, and although I do not have any kids I do have three dogs and two cats that are equivalent to having three toddlers LOL. I wouldn't trade them for the world, the youngest dog I got right before my dad last so she's been a huge help. I'm engaged, but my fiance doesn't understand or talk a whole lot about what I'm going through.
- About my Loss:
- I lost my dad in February and we had a jaded past due to his addictions and alcoholism, so I'm trying to just find my way through. I'm seeing a psychologist, because there's just too many confusing memories and emotions that hit me all at once. However, a friend suggested online support groups since I do not drive, so I decided to give it a try.
