Alex, I am so sorry for your loss.  It is so tough.  Our brains protect us by making us numb at first, and as that numbness wears off it hurts more than anyone who hasnt been there can imagine.  We have all been there.  We do understand and we wish you didnt have to know.  Welcome to the group and feel free to talk about anything and ask questions if you need.  Someone here is bound to have something supportive to say.

Hi Alex. So sorry for your loss. I lost my dad too unexpected. Its almost a year in June and the pain is still present. We're here for you.

Welcome. All of what you are feeling we here have or are still feeling. My thoughts are with you as you go through this process. It is not easy but come here when you need and someone will always listen and try to help.
