Anybody have advice about the time before death? My dad has a neurological condition and doesn't have too much longer, maybe 6 months to a year. Is it going to be an extended period of grief then?

Cate,
My husband died on June 18th of 2009 of mold in his brain. I had time to talk to him and say goodbye. My mother died of a massive heart attack in 1993. I always thought it would be easier to get over if I had gotten to talk to her, Neeless to say it is going to hurt down to your core when it happens and after. My daughter was 20 when her did died and she was his darling. The best advise is to love him and be with him as much as possible. because when they are gone it is so final.

God bless you and I will be thinking of you. How about your mom?

Some days I’m perfectly fine, but others I can’t walk down the street without crying. I keep thinking that I haven’t talked to her in a while & I…See More
