As sad as I am that my brother passed away, the hardest part of dealing with it is watching my parents. The people that were once your rock are no longer your rock. I find myself asking my mom to do things that she constantly forgets, and its easy stuff and shes barely working while i work and go to school. I saw a text on my mom's phone from my dad that said "I am going to be miserable for the rest of my life." I wanted to cry. Aren't I enough to not be miserable for? I know its hard…

Keep on keeping on! your loss has brought me to tears as many have on this forum, but it is healthy for me. As every day that passes with my loss, I am a bit stronger. So will you too!
It took me almost a year to feel positive about life. I felt regret at first about not spending enough time with him by ourselves. My one daughter is disabled, which left me spending alot of my time concerned about her health. Now, i know he knew I did what had to be done. It will be a year August 20th, so pray for me that day. God has a plan for us, so we should listen to his calling friend. God bless!
Hi Kylie,
I lost my husband on 12th June...on my birthday. Losing a loved one is always very difficult. Grieving is a process which takes time...as long as u want to. Our loved one was loaned to us by God and now God is ready to take him back. Nothing can take our pain away, but if we continue hurting we will become ill. We have to ask God to give us the strength to deal with our pain and loss, Think about all the happy times u had with ur little brother.
I lost my dad 3 months before my husband died from a motorcycle wreck late last August. It was strange knowing my husband at the time when with me to my dad's funeral service. Then, 1,2, and 3 it seemed my husband had left me too. I understand your pain very much. It has been almost a year, and I can tell you it will get better. Pray daily, eat right, and focus on things that will help you feel better. I'm painting rooms in my house, and that is helping me. Let me know if you ever need to talk.
