Profile Information

About Me:
I have graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology Degree. I work full time for a family doctors office.

I love spending time with my friends and family. I would be lost without them.
About my Loss:
I fall under the category of having multiple losses. Let's see-where to start---> In April 2004 my friend, Anna, committed suicide; in September 2004 my best friend, Allison, died of cancer; October 10, 2006 my friend, Katie, died due to a car accident; October 14,2006 my friend, Chase, died due to a car accident (different from Katie); March of 2007 my paternal grandpa died; August of 2007 my maternal grandmother died of cancer;in April 2010 my friend, Rachel, died due to a car accident; July 2011 a family friend, Rebecca, died due to complications from a bone marrow transplant she had 20 years ago; January 1, 2012 lost a family friend, Kris, to suicide; January 7, 2012 lost my little cousin, Nathan, to a car accident; October 18, 2012 lost a good family friend, Matt, to suicide. These are not all of the losses I have faced but that ones that have affected me the most.

Angelversaries & Holidays

On october 18 it will be my friend, Matts, 1st angelversary. Can't believe it has been a year since that terrible day. I remember everything like it were yesterday. Hearing the call go down on the scanner, looking up the address and going completely pale realizing that it was matt, going to jenni's to break the news to her, going to be with deidre and talk to/console her. Wow.

Holidays are coming up and that is when I miss my friends and family the most. Holidays are the time of year…

Addie replied to Kali's discussion It was not supposed to be like this in the group Being the Other Woman/Other Man
"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
