My mom had pulmonary fibrosis. She was sick for a few years. It was funny how when my grandmother smoked, my mom would always say-I’m gonna die from second hand smoke. My mom never smoked. She died from lung disease. Ironic.I was fine at the funeral. Planning. Talking to everyone. I thought u handled it great. Now 4 months later, I’m a mess. Have a nice day

Wow, 8 months ago feels like yesterday! Your loss is still very “raw”.
A dear friend taught me how to breathe deeply right after my Dad died.
Inhale deeply and slowly exhale your breath. It helps me to remember to breathe and it gets more oxygen to your brain/body.
Whatever you do try to be extra gentle with yourself. Grieving is incredibly difficult!
Kore, I am so very sorry to hear that you lost a younger brother.
I see that we “signed up” for the Grief Support on the same day.
Somehow, that makes us “kindred spirits”.
I lost my Dad three years ago. Grief never goes away, it simply changes shape.
