I’m new here. I’ve decided to join and see if I’m able to find some peace. I lost a daughter to SIDS and my sister to a drunk driver within a month of one another.

I’m currently married with two children and unable to cope…I hurt, inside and out and it’s not something I can find relief from. I put on my happy face every day and I don’t know how much longer I can keep it up, I feel like I’m falling apart.

I know this sounds dismal but today is one of those days when it was hard to move, hard to breathe…

My heart goes out to you Ona. Losing someone is the hardest thing we face in life. I lost my daughter several years ago. My brother 2 months ago and our adopted son 3 weeks ago. i can only tell you with time it gets easier. Even though right now you don't think it will. But the pain in your heart and soul will lessen. Until then just take one day at a time. Or if that is to much one hour at a time. I'm glad you found this website and I hope it will help you. It's a good place to vent. My heart, thoughts and prayers are with you. ((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))

I m so sorry for your loss and you are still in deep grief after loss of your daughter. My heart totally goes out for you. Its normal feeling because loss of children is really painful for mother. You can go to grief counseling for deal with your grief. Their way of talking is great and I hope you will deal with your grief and trying to move on.
You are always in my thoughts and I pray to God for relief your pain.

Oh my goodness! Today is hard for me this whole weekend, my first holiday without my mom. She died suddenly apparently from a heart attack I do not know for sure. One day shy of her 68th bday and we were going to celebrate with lunch and the bookstore I was going to let her pick out some books. She loved to read.

I vesiculate between not feeling, too low burning pain in my heart and I cry then i shut down again! This is a good place to express one's feelings.
I am sorry for your losses, life can be so hard at times. Is there anything you can do like journal by hand or create an online journal and just write all your thoughts down as they come to you. Maybe you might want to try it. Nothing anyone can say or do will help you right now, just keep writing about your feelings this the best place I have ever been.

I just found out that my step mom has PF-Pulmonary Fibrosis flare. She was diagnosed about 3-6 months ago and also has Sclerederma an autoimmune disease. She takes it in stride but I feel her time is running out. It never seems to end!!!
