Mark...I am so dreadfully sorry for your loss. I lost my Mum this year. What happened to your dear sweet Mom is heart breaking, and although this was hard for you to witness she would have known you were there for her at such a difficult time.
You will feel you have been robbed of her, as what happened to her never should have happened, and she fought it with all her might as she did not want to leave you.
So long as we keep our loved ones in our thoughts and our hearts we can never really lose them, but I do feel your anguish at what happened and you not being by her side when she passed over, yet she knew and knows how much you love her so please do take comfort from that.
I don't think we ever truly get over the loss of a loved one, yet we do learn to manage it, and you will in time too as you must find peace in knowing she is free from the suffering of the body, and I know you will feel her around you as she reaches out to comfort you...just as you comforted her.
Many blessings to you.
Rhona.
Sorry to hear about your mum Mark... I am missing mine too..along with others... its always so hard at Christmas too..my mum used to be the 'santa' in the family... always loved shopping for us all... kept working even after we all grew up so she could keep buying things for us all through the year and especially Christmas...we used travel the 600 miles up and back each school holiday to visit her and dad every time I had time off from teaching.. she had such a kind heart.... I dream of the days I would see her at the front door...
