My mom died 4 months ago
My mom had pulmonary fibrosis. She was sick for a few years. It was funny how when my grandmother smoked, my mom would always say-I’m gonna die from second hand smoke. My mom never smoked. I am so sorry to hear how you have lost the father of your children. Yet I am glad you found this support group because, as you mentioned it is good to be able to talk to others who have experienced losses that greatly affect their lives.
When Someone You Love Dies is a brochure that has greatly helped my family and if you follow the link, you will see what I mean. I especially liked the comment it makes in the chapter How Can I Live With My Grief? about finding a good friend that will listen to you when you need to talk. Just know that I will listen with a truly sympathetic heart.
