- I am a 35yr old single mom. I'm currently in school studying to be an intervention specialist for people with chemical dependency.
- About my Loss:
- I was 16 and my sister was 15. We played doubles tennis together in high school. We had to practice 1 day a week by ourself. We changed days that week because I was boy crazy and had a secrete date. Greg wanted to kill me not her but she was the one at home. I feel so guilty. Still all the years later I hear his words in court that it should have been "Ape" which is my nickname and he's right. When I got home from practice Ange was on the ground with her pants torn off. God, there was blood everywhere. Her bloody hand prints lined the walls. He had sodomized her, so horribly that her anus was ripped into her vagina. HE had beat her to the point that her nose was on the other side of her face. I still frantically did CPR. She was gone there was no doubt in that but I just couldn't accept that. The neighbor had called the police something I hadn't even thought of in my madness. Now, almost 25 year later he is coming up for parole. It happend April 18,1991. My nightmares are just as bad now as they were then. I know that if he gets out he will do it again, so all I can do is pray.

Traumatic loss of an only child
I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.
