As we go to the places that our loved one spent with us, there's going to be that moment of reality that our loss is real.

Martha Whitmore Hickman talks about she would measure the level of courage based on far open she would keep her deceased daughter's bedroom door.  On bad days the door stayed mostly closed, on good days, perhaps a quarter of the way; but most definitely a difficult vision to see her daughter's possessions.

After months of open and close door games, she decided she could leave it more open than shut, all the while trying desperately not to go feel overwhelmed with it all.

Those bedrooms or other places we tend to avoid are not home to our loved ones anymore.  When we search for them we always come to the door unknown, which is accessible only through fantasy.  The question comes down to this;  CAN WE TRUST THAT WITHIN, ONE WHO KNOWS BETTER THAN WE IS CARING FOR THEM?

"Healing After Loss" states; In the universe we share, I trust that my loved one is safe.  Halleluiah!
