Thank you so much for your support. I was a little apprehensive about this site because I dealt with my loss on my own. I never really had anybody to turn to. I see now that people on this site are very supportive and I thank you all for all of your support.

Thank you anne, What you said helped a little. I've always been told that "it'll get better as time goes on" but after 3 years I've found that it doesn't. I've just learned how to cope. I find different ways to help deal with the loss, and sometimes that doesn't work, sometimes just thinking about him and all the fun times we had in the short time we were together before he moved helps and hurts but it's a good way to remember how sweet he was and it makes me happy. The way you said it in your comment really made me smile because I was crushed when he died and I didn't know where to turn so thank you for your reassuring words.

Well said, Anne.

I have found that pretty much every member of this website who I've "talked" to has been kind and helpful, even though (or probably partly because) they are dealing with their own pain.  Even when other members and I don't agree regarding spiritual/religious matters, we are able to listen to each other and be kind to each other.  This is a good place for grieving people.
