Last night, my 7 year old son Nicholas turned to me and said, "Daddy, I can't miss mommy too much because she's right here!  And he pointed to his head.  I told him, baby boy, your heart is in your chest.  He said, "I know, but I've been having heartburn and thinking of Mommy makes it better!"

I have a lot to learn from my child.

this is so beautiful !!!! the best words of comfort also came from my 4 yr old son when he woke me up very early one morning to say that Auntie to came and gave him a kiss on the cheek.... she absolutely adored my boys.... I so wish and pray she is somehow around us... I miss her so much xx

How cute is he and what a sweetheart. You absolutely have a great gift with you. And yes we all have a lot to learn from our very own children.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
