wife of 33 years died of acute respiratory distress syndrome. fine one day died the next.

Bob,
I'm so sorry for you, I know how it feels and that is the one thing I get out of this web site.
Life is so unfair, yet as a Born Again Christian, I know that, but it is always supposed to happen to somebody else. Somebody I don't know, but read about it in the paper.
I can reitre next May but we knew I couldn't afford to but we both couldn't wait for that time. I suffered severe injuries in a fall from our roof 4 years ago and was off work for 8 months. I didn't want to go back to work because I loved being at home with Nanette.
