Profile Information

About Me:
I am 52. I am still working as a paralegal. I have 2 children who aren't involved with me. I don't have much support in my life and an lost since my kids left my life when COVID began. I am lonely & lost. I have a boyfriend who does not understand or offer support. I have thrown my life into my work to cope.
About my Loss:
I just lost my mom on 12/3/21 to pancreatic cancer. We found out she had pancreatic cancer on 11/18/21 and she was gone 12/3/21. Due to COVID & not wanting my parents to see how upset I was about my kids I didn't want them to see what a failure j was so I avoided them for the last year of my mom’s life. I was not told her condition was aggressive & showed to find mom barely able to speak or stay awake. I was shocked. I am dealing very badly with my mom’s death as I have no support. I am now left with the guilt of my dad being alone & being the only one to support him. I am left in a situation of leaving life in my city & moving to be w my dad but this would mean leaving my kids’ home base. I am devastated and lonely & feel I have no where to turn.

Grandma sewing room
