About Me:
Father of 2 adult children
About my Loss:
Loss of my 32 year old son who we all believed was doing well —- with the exception of a relationship he was in with a woman who was not supportive of him, had her own substance struggles, and led him on. He Feared that if he didn’t make it with her that he would end up alone.So over and over and over again he would accept her back and back and back. But why he couldn’t rise above with the support he DID have from both me and his Mom, I’ll never understand. He was drop-dead gorgeous, but his self esteem was so so poor because he constantly blamed himself for the years lost to addiction and prison time. Tried to encourage him that 32 was young, but I failed in that. Still waiting for the medical reports, but I fear his death was an overdose based on the evidence found. I was to meet him for coffee in the morning the night I got the call in the middle of the night from the female. Fourth of July’s will never be the same. RIP, Bud.

Grandma sewing room
