- About Me:
- I am a part-time student going for my master's degree in human services with a concentration in trauma counseling.
- About my Loss:
- I have lost both my sister and mother, and I am currently my father's caregiver. My sister passed away from stage 4b cervical cancer in May of 2019. She fought for 2 1/2 years, and during her treatment, doctors frequently miscommunicated information to both their colleagues and our family, she had constant complications from the treatment and surgeries, and she had unexplained weight loss that no one could explain. Her death was extremely painful, and my mother had a very hard time coping with her loss. She died the following year, nine days after the one-year anniversary of Beth's passing. Their passing has been painful, but I am learning to live without them.
