- Young woman in my early 30s. I had to place my parents in a home in my mid-twenties because they both developed dementia which progressed into Alzheimers. My father passed away two years ago, and my mother passed away last year.

- I had to place my parents in a home in my mid-twenties because they both developed dementia which progressed into Alzheimers. My father passed away two years ago, and my mother passed away last year. I've recently realized that I spent all of my energy trying my best to figure out life. I emotionally and financially supported my parents. I lost all of my friends. I feel like no one can relate to me anymore. Grieving is hard.
