- I lost my Mom about 4 weeks ago. I was generally the soul caretaker of my Mom. I am the youngest of two children and acted more like the oldest. I helped my Mom with everything in her life even when I became married she was always a part of my life. She depended on me a lot and at times it was very stressful but I took the job on since I was a teenager and knew my responsibilities.

I think everyday about my Mom. This is the month she was born on the 22nd. The is her first birthday that I will not be a part of with her because she left me. I try hard everyday to be positive but some days I fail. As her day gets nearer I find myself becoming moody and depressed. Thank you... I'm so very sorry for the loss of your mother. I'm trying to keep going for my kids, I really am, but I can't help feeling they would be better off with someone else... someone whole. I'm just a broken, useless mess. I have nothing to give them anymore. I have nothing at all. Sometimes I think they lost both their parents... I'm still breathing,but I'm just an empty shell.
