- About Me:
- I am a retired teacher who was diagnosed in 2017 with Stage 111c ovarian cancer within 2 weeks of retiring, no symptoms.. I am tired of the battle. This year has been especially hard burying my 34 year old son who died on Sept. 24. I have so much grief for too long, and now my son is gone.
- About my Loss:
- My life with cancer...my life losing my older son. Loss of family members and friends who no.longer come around or never did with cancer diagnosis...people who came to funeral and no contact since...I need support. No support group offered for ovarian cancer..."There's not enough of you. That's why we don't have one."

Hi everyone. This is my first post here.I lost my brother in December 2024 to an accidental overdose. He passed away suddenly in his sleep. We were only a year and a half apart in age, and he was the closest person I've ever had.One thing I've been struggling with ever since is that I feel an overwhelming pressure to reply to texts and answer calls as soon as I can.
