About Me:
My work days currently are spent at the Kitchen of a privet boarding school. Most of my free time goes to making art or attending art galleries. As well as the occasional night club here and there.I also enjoy hiking and gardening.
About my Loss:
My mom died last August.14'11 of Pancreatic Cancer. I took medical leave from work so I could help take care of her at home with my father. That way he could still go to work and I would be there for her while he was gone. We took care of her until it became to much and we had to bring her into Hospice. She passed away about 3 weeks later.

A familiar place...

It seems I never fully get over what the Cancer did to mom....I drifted back to it today. She was the nicest women I ever met. She had very few whom disliked her. She believed you could talk out all your differences with someone. Witch is something I have never been able to do but she lived by it. She treated everyone like family no matter who you where or where you came from. She would have given you the shirt of her own back if she knew you needed it. To watch the Cancer just totally eat…

Beginning here...

I don't really know where to head from here or if this will work for me. But I have to try. The loss of my Mother becomes so grate that weather i'm just relaxing or at work I drift back to it. I really don't know what triggers it but I drift back....to when she was alive and I had to take care of her. The Cancer ate away at her so quickly this time...I felt like when she wasn't sleeping she was always in pain. We had to give her medication every couple of hours...We would sometimes even have…

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More

Traumatic loss of an only child

I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.

Loss of a loved one to alcohol, substance abuse or suicide

If you have lost a loved one to alcohol, substance abuse or suicide please share your story or feelings here. Share the love and beauty of the one you lost. Losing someone any of these ways is not natural and can be hard to understand and ask why? I lost my Mother to an overdose 9 years ago. She also suffered from major depression. Her doctor got her hooked on pain medication and she was addicted most of my life. These doctors who were suppose to help her ended up killing her in the end. I also…See More
