My mom died 4 months ago
My mom had pulmonary fibrosis. She was sick for a few years. It was funny how when my grandmother smoked, my mom would always say-I’m gonna die from second hand smoke. My mom never smoked. Gita, I want to protect my son from the ugly things being said about him. Yes, he struggled with addiction. But I am so proud of him because before his wreck, he had been clean for over 2 months. When they did blood tests at the hospital before the organ center looked for recipients. He was clean. He had such a good heart. He would do anything he could to help anyone, even if he didn't like them. Now none of them will help me with his headstone while talking about how bad I am for letting him be there with it. So yeah, this experience sucks like a cheap hooker.
Gita, to my soul I am so very sorry for the loss of your son. I know your pain and I share it with you. I'm trying to find some logical reason why we have had to put our children down into their permanent beds. We all need a hug.

I am so sorry to have to welcome you to this site. I lost my 17 year old son and only child 2 and a half yeas ago suddenly in a tragic car accident. I hope you can find some comfort and support here as you make your way through this devastating grief.
