Profile Information

About Me:
I’m 60 years old, but most days I don’t feel it. I was born on my parents’ 13th Wedding Anniversary, and have two older brothers. We were born and raised in Dearborn, Michigan. I have a daughter who’s 33, graduated from U of M, then went on to get her Masters Degree at Wayne State University in 2012. She married my wonderful son-in-Law that same year and in March 2014, my husband, Adam and I became grandparents of a beautiful granddaughter. Our second sweet granddaughter was born on Father’s Day 2016 - exactly one week before Adam passed away in Hospice at the young age of 63.
I’d retired from AAA-Michigan in October of 2010 after 32+ years of service. Adam worked for GM as a Safety Project Manager at the time of his death.
About my Loss:
I can’t talk about it right now. Today is Thanksgiving and it’s my second Thanksgiving Day without my husband Adam.
