Profile Information

About Me:
I am 63 years old. I have been on disability since 2006. My son of 29 years passed away in May 2005. I clean houses to supplement my disability. Recently, I had an illness and have lost my jobs. Only immediate family I have left is my sister who suffers from mental illness (severe). She and my disabled aunt live together. I run their errands for them. My 18 year old grandson moved in with me in May of this year after graduation.
About my Loss:
My son died on Mother's Day, May 2005. My husband died on Mother's Day, 2010. My mother died on April 26th of last year. I haven't even had time to recover from loss of one before the loss of another.

God bless you and your family as well ! I understand the sadness of not being able to hold on to tradition believe me I soooo do, however you are so blessed that you were able to spend some time with your family and that alone is so very precious.

Today will be the first Thanksgiving that I have not cooked a Thanksgiving meal in 25 years.  Going to Cracker Barrell and picking up dinners and pies for myself, aunt and sister.  Neither one of them is able to go out.  I am very thankful for who I have left and what I have.  I give "God" all of the Glory for getting me thru this day!
