He was visiting my mother in an alzheimer home. The puppy was his sister's pup and later became his after sis had babies. When he passed, the dog went back to sis.

This  is my mother. She was in an alzheimer locked unit.  We went to visit her and we had a puppy I had got for my daughter.  She was not able to conceive for a long time and he was her baby.  When the babies came along, she was afraid he would get jealous, and Shawn's Rotties had all passed away, so she gave him, Sysco, to Shawn.  He was with him to the end.  He even grieved for Shawn after he passed away. The funny thing about this pic is that a nurse came by and asked to hold the puppy and while she had it, it relieved itself in her right pocket.  We all had a big laugh about that.

Some days I’m perfectly fine, but others I can’t walk down the street without crying. I keep thinking that I haven’t talked to her in a while & I…See More
