This was the first time Avalynn tasted my breast milk. She was fed via an ngtube her entire life. She couldn't bottle feed, or use a binky because her suck reflex was weak, and coordinating eating and breathing and sucking was impossible with her respiratory conditions. Still, I was a proud mom that she pushed that binky into her mouth and held it there like she never wanted it to leave, and it was the best thing she'd ever tasted.
