This picture is one that Matt put on the memorial board and actually put "Look Ma, No Hands!" It is the first time he tried on the prosthetics. The one on the left was an above the knee, and required straps and suction to pull his leg into. The right was a below the knee. He still had his knee and about 4 inches of leg below the knee. That knee and inches were calloused just like a foot. It was used every day. He had strong muscles and his answer to that was,"well if you had to lift your entire weight every day several time a day, you would have strong muscles too."

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More

Traumatic loss of an only child

I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.
