i wasn't personally a victim of a violent crime, but on July 8, 2012, me and my fiance witnessed my maternal aunt get shot 7 times in the chest by her ex boyfriend. our lives were threatened as well because the shooter pointed the gun at us and said he would kill us if we didnt get out of the house, the only reason why we are still alive is because he ran out of bullets. he unloaded a full clip into my aunt. it was the hardest thing i have ever dealt with besides the death of my mom back on June 8, 2007 from stage 4 breast cancer.
