Hi,

I am so very sorry for your loss. I am going through a very similar loss. On Dec 18 2015 I found my best friend dead at his home, and 9 days later my dad (the best dad ever) passed away, he lost his battle with cancer.

I have some very bad days, still. I try to keep busy. I have found that writing my feeling in a journal really helps. This site is great there are many people to talk to. I'm glad you found it.

If you have family that understands, talk to them. I always try to remember that there is no right way to grief, you have to go through in your own way.

This is a great book.  Transforming Traumatic Grief: Six Steps to Move from Grief
by Courtney Armstrong

My cousin suggested this video to me, I haven't watched it yet. but if he thinks its good it probably is

If you would like to continue talking to me feel free to write any time.

Take care

Lisa
