I lost my wife at South Hospital in Austin tx . Iam going thru a little anger right now. She was always having heart or breathing problems(dailysis related) stuff. We (her son) all thought it would be like the other times 3 or 4 where she had problems .The hospital would fix her and she would be out. This time the heart doctor (same one who examined her many times before) discovered her heart valves wer bad, strange he never saw that before. An issue I would like to pursue but whats done is done,no I don,t mean it that way I just want to grieve and get it done with.

Was it a sudden dramatic loss in a sense yes or no . We all held out, then she started to simply fade away, with complications. I really don,t want to get into it. I allowed the hosp to take her breathing tube away. Iam in such denial even while she was dying I was in the hallway. Finally went in I almost broke down. enough is enough.

For me a choice where you throw any reasoning out he window. She was gone complications fromthe surgery or what, uncontrolable blood pressure(meds )stopped working, breathing tube, collapsed lung, lost of blood in the extremites(amputation ) internal problems, infection .

So its hard I was married 35 yrs Iam 65 Iam at the stage where I could really care if I went on. However its tough.I never went through so much depression, where it hits you and you have to ride it out, which is even tougher. I move on it will be a while.

We were only a year and a half apart in age, and he was the closest person I've ever had.One thing I've been struggling with ever since is that I feel an overwhelming pressure to reply to texts and answer calls as soon as I can. If someone messages me and I don't respond right away, my mind starts thinking, "What if something happens to them before I reply?…See More
