It isn't e-z for a new relationship after being in one for 31 years.   I had been her caregiver since 1994.   She had told me and some of our close friends that she wished I would find someone...she didn't want me to leave...but she wanted me to have someone on the side.  I laughed and said "like I have the energy"..lol.  I never did it at all.  In 09 I was a a Native  American org.  ...there I learned drumming from a good teacher.  Yr after my partner had died..we kept bumping into one another...we started going out for coffee....met at drumming and fluting circles.  We have much in common.  But it still is a bit hard.  She is very patient and understanding..supports me....and even at times grieves w me...she was also friends w me and my partner.  I am happy..but do have some rough times..I am very glad she is in my life

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More

Her doctor got her hooked on pain medication and she was addicted most of my life. These doctors who were suppose to help her ended up killing her in the end. I also…See More
