I am an author, writer and mother to three beautiful grown children and live in PA with my husband. I have lived a life filled with unexpected tragedy and loss. I am passionate about sharing my experiences with others who struggle with loss. I wish to share the hope I have been blessed with through out my life. About my Loss:
I have recently published a book, Tomorrow's Promise, about my experience with loss. When I lost my mother, father and brother, my life changed forever. To those not blessed with a faith-filled heart, these events may seem tragic and unimaginable. But Tomorrow's Promise is a story of struggle turned to triumph. My faith in God revealed to me an amazing power at a pivotal time in my life, offering me comfort in a moment of supreme challenge.

Whispers From Beyond:’ Faith-Filled Heart Comforts after Loss

There is nothing more important or powerful in our lives than our faith. I have had a wonderful experience about a presence more powerful than ourselves. I have seen the movies, books and specials through out the media world about life after death, God, the Divine Source and Heaven. It is an amazing and mysterious subject matter, which captures the attention of millions no matter what faith they practice. My life has been embraced by heaven. I…

Hope is on the way.

I am sorry for your loss. I feel the pain you are experiencing trying to manage your life through this transition without your loved one. There is not a set time for any of us to start feeling normal again or to move through each day with ease and free of pain and heartache. It will come eventually, I promise. I don't know what it is like to lose a spouse, but I feel death is something we experience, the pain is there no matter the significance of the person in our lives. I… Continue

Thank you Mary. I am going to order your book today. I need to believe we will be reunited. I have not had a very trligious background, never read the bible. My life has been full of a great deal of saddness. Perhaps your book will help me on my journey to getting my faith where i truly want it to be. Sue

Thank you Mary. I am so sorry for your loss as well. My brother was also just 41. He was so sick but it happened so quickly. It's very hard to accept. His two little boys growing up without him. He was none years older than me. But we were always close. He always took care of me. And everybody. He would never believe how much we suffer now without him. He could never have imagined the hole he'd be leaving in our lives. I just miss him so much.

Addie replied to Kali's discussion It was not supposed to be like this in the group Being the Other Woman/Other Man
"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
