Hi,

There are only a few of us who have this spelling. There is also another "Mariann Bamberger" who appears to be a Goth-type oddball, which doesn't help when I am applying for employment.

I an so sorry you lost your daughter to cancer. No one should have to bury their child, and I cannot even fathom the pain involved.  I worked for US Oncology for several years, and am very familiar with this horrible, awful disease. My husband passed away from recurrent prostate cancer.

Thank you for friending me, we Marianns need to flock together!

So Sorry Mariann.... us parents should never need to say good bye to our children.... it is not fair.   And as I look at the photos of these young vibrant lives ... it just seems like it is NOT SO that they are gone.  I don't know how to post photos of my Niles on here but his photos are just as young and vibrant.....

Mariann, I am terribly sorry for your loss.  Your daughter sounds like she was an amazing person here on earth, and I am certain her soul remains amazing wherever she travels.  I lost my son Silas to lung cancer on May 27, 2008; he was only 29.  Silas was treated in Boston as well; MassGeneral.  Life is forever changed, and I am just so sad without my smart, handsome, feisty & funny guy....  Silas fought like hell, but cancer is so relentless.  I hate it too.  Sending hugs

"Kali I’m so so sorry you are going through this. Grief is hard enough, but going through it secretly, all the while having to continue showing up for your kids, is just brutal. Perhaps your friend was careful to hide your conversations behind…"

It was not supposed to be like this

In 2014 I met the most amazing man ever. We were both in our very early 20s and were looking for different things at the time. We ceased communication for roughly 6 months. During which time, he completed basic training and joined the Air Force. By the time we reconnected he was already at his first duty station.. 8 hours away.We decided we wanted to continue our relationship and proceeded to cultivate a deeply emotional connection. Regular calls and video chats, visits while he was home on…See More
