Hi I wrote this poem when struggling to get my head around there being a new year without Steve, it just doesn't seem right that life should go on without him. I thought I would share it with you as I am sure many of you will be having a hard time accepting a new year.

Rewind time

Stop the clock and rewind time

back to when you were mine

back to when my world was right

when new year was full of light

Why do days turn into years

why does time ignore my tears

why does the world carry on

doesn't it know that you are gone

Thank You for that poem.  My Fiance passed away April 27th 2012, he was only 42.  I have not hit the one year mark and my days are up and down.  Starting the new year without him does not seem right.  Again thank you for your poem

Thankyou Renee, I am so sorry for your loss. Steve was 42 too, much to young. Sending love and hugs. Babs
