Hope-sorry... not one of my best poems.

Reminiscing on old memories;

Watching them float like leaves,

With each mighty gust wind dares to breathe.

We can seek solace from the forgotten,

Watch it fade through the colors of the sky.

Tears of happiness and strength trickle down

our window panes.

Let hope conquer all; let it laugh at

Whatever dares drag us to the cold ground.

The roots of the past,

Become the trees of the future.

Those seeds will blossom into something new;

The sun will shine down upon us,

In all of its radiant glory.

Move through the seasons with each of earths rotations;

Forge a new path.

We will all leave our footprints behind

On our journies.

In case we ever need to be reminded

Of the trip that got us to our today.

Some days I’m perfectly fine, but others I can’t walk down the street without crying. I keep thinking that I haven’t talked to her in a while & I…See More
