- I am the mother of three beautiful children who are my entire life.
- About my Loss:
- On New Year's night, the love of my life and the father of my children, left to take his friends a plate of food. He was on his way home, lost control of his truck, crashed into a tree and was killed. It happen exactly half a mile from our house, I didn't hear any sirens. I didn't even find out until nearly three hours later.

Movies about grief that actually understand loss — any recommendations?
Hi everyone I’m new here and honestly never thought I’d need a space like this, but here I am. I am also sorry to hear of your loss as well. The love of my life rolled his jeep near Tahoe when I was 23; I only had 3-3 1/2 years with him, but they were some of the happiest days of my life. The only thing I can say to you to try to help is to be thankful for all the time you had together, and the love you got to share. Of course you are already thankful for the children you got to have together. He will live on through them as well as you. I wasn't fortunate enough to bring my love's child into the world to be with me when I lost him. So, look for your love in your children's eyes. He will be there, as he is in your heart.
