About Me:
I'm a 79 year old widower that's having a very hard time getting through my grief.
About my Loss:
I lost my wife, soulmate and best friend 10 months ago and I seem to be worse now than I was 6 or 7 months ago. We were married 54 years and I can't seem to do much without her by my side. I have gone through Hospice One-On-One and Group Counseling but I need more guidance. Our kids are both out of state so I'm alone and that doesn't help.

Looking For Help

I just joined the group and am a 79 year old widower who lost his wife 10 months ago. After attending Hospice one-on-one counseling as well as group counseling (they did help me at the time), I sometimes feel like I'm slipping back into deep sadness and depression at times. I can't make it through a whole day without falling apart a few times. After 54 years of marriage, it's very hard to live alone. Does anyone else feel pressure to always reply because you're afraid it'll be the last conversation?

Hi everyone. This is my first post here.I lost my brother in December 2024 to an accidental overdose. He passed away suddenly in his sleep.
